“I had suffered a light pain at the left shoulder, because everyday I carried bag ony at this side. Comparing to the other side, it was hard and inflexible. When came here I did not think that it could help but I was really satisfied. The staff only used her hands, not just massaging, very than...”
I went mid-afternoon and wasn't really impressed I'm sorry to say. Very friendly at the reception but in terms of the massage quality and the ambiance of the place, not really great at all. Kind of a hospital office type atmosphere with little curtained areas very near one another... maybe it was just the masseuse, or maybe I've been spoiled by good massages in HCMC, but yeah, I won't be going back.
I went last week for a massage. I was looking to book an appt for later but they were free so they took me immediately. After going to Sakura, and finding nobody spoke English, I was happy they were all able to speak and understand what I wanted. A man stood up, and I asked for a woman-it was no problem to switch masseuse.
The massage was rough, I bruise easily and had a few bruises on my legs that I think maybe she didn't notice-I did stop her twice because it hurt. She asked what area I wanted her to concentrate on which was lovely.
However, about halfway through the massage a man (customer) walked in with another man-the curtains were open and I looked up to find them straight ahead of the bed where I was laying. At that point, the woman closed the blinds and later the man went to the neighboring bed for his massage. I didn't realize the rooms were coed and won't be going back because of it. I don't find it relaxing to look up in the middle of a massage and find two men casually standing in front of me carrying on a conversation. I think segregated rooms would be more appropriate but maybe that's just me.
The woman was really sweet but kept sniffling and coughing which made me think she was sick. As close as she was to my face at times, I was very much afraid I would be getting sick with whatever she had as well.
The prices are affordable but the experience was not good all around. My back hurt for days after (to the point of having trouble sleeping) which has never happened before either.
I've heard this place was good but I've always gone to another massage place. But now that I live near to Just Massage I thought I'd give it a try. Wow was I happily surprised. As good as any I've been to and much cheaper. I had the Shiatsu the first time for some deep pressure and was pleased then followed it up with a couples massage with my gf a week later. She wanted gentler so I tried it with her - we both were happy afterwards though I still prefer the deep massage but it was worth a try once.
I highly recommend Just Massage to anyone wanting a quality massage from well trained staff and the price is very reasonable.
I remember Just Massage when it was originally based in Van Phuc. I am sorry to hear that it may be closing as the people and service was excelllent. My wife and I used to go regularly. Hopefully the earlier writer and the blind/partially sighted team at Just Massage will find a way of keeping it open.
I write this review in a little pain as I have to bend my neck slightly to look at the keyboard. 3 days ago I couldn't bend my neck at all without excruciating pain especially when trying to look up. Yesterday I went to Just Massage and after explaining my problem was recommended a Shiatsu massage. I have to say I was a bit nervous but manned up and got my pyjamas on in readiness. The massage was amazing, my back clicked this way and that and I whimpered every now and then but afterwards and since I've had less pain and more movement. Ginger tea at the end was so lovely my girlfriend bought a jar.
Sadly I learnt that they are due to close at the end of November due to "financial reasons" - this is a true shame and I urge anyone looking for a business or investment opportunity to get in touch with them and see if there's a way of keeping it open.
