Where can I blacklist bad landlords here on the site? I just had the most Horrific experience with a landlord and a housing contract. They suddenly asked for much more money while I stayed for some days and the contract had to be made in a few days. Once the contract was there, everything was a scam. When I refused to sign they forced me to pay 100$ for just a few days. When I refused they got so angry and threatened me by delivering me to the police. These people are working for the ministery of justice so they can do everything they want they said. Eventually I got away with paying less, but it took a long time to be released. These guys must be blacklisted. Do NOT ever rent the house on Doi can street alley 379 nr 24a and 24b!!!!
I am interested to work in vietnam and have been looking into the requirements for work permit and one of the requirements is to be free of criminal record. How strict are they on this? if you have any previous offence is it a dead end? I have a minor theft offence from 16 years ago when I was a teenager that i just got a small fine for. Will this cause me problems?
What is up with the website? All this 'posted 7 hours ago' when I know it was posted 2 minutes ago. Was everyone else finding it hard to access the site last weekend, following the repairs or whatever was going on? It doesn't matter. Don't blind me with science. Just sort it out! What?
I have 4 new spots to this site but after checking I find that all of them are still in the mode of "unverified" even though some of them were added months ago. So what's the criteria for a spot to move from Unverified to verified? How long does it take? Is unverified spots not listed in the Top Spots search? I can't find the spots I added by searching for it in Top Spots.
I find the latest activity stream ridiculously uninformative. Half of it is stuff I couldn't give a rat's about - and I have to spend 5 minutes deleting notifications to get to what I want to know about, ie. who's responded to my thread/answer or given me props, or what people I'm interested in have said on threads I'm following. Can't there be some kind of weighting system? If here is, it's badly out of kilter. If someone commented on your post, surely that should goes to the top of the list? Particularly if it's a user you're following. If they gave you props, that should get a high priority too? If a user you're following says something or leaves props, that should be up in lights as well. At present, it seems as though at least half the notifications I receive are because users ...
