I have been learning Vietnamese with TVO for about 1.5 months already. My teacher, Quy, not only loves to teach but has a knack to explaining the unexplainable.
If you plan to stay in Vietnam for a while, I strongly suggest taking some one-on-one lessons with TVO.
Tôi đã học tiếng Việt với TVO 1.5 tháng rồi. Quy, giao viên tôi, có thể giải thích những khái niệm và ngữ pháp khó để hiểu. Trông buổi học tôi học về văn hoá Việt Nam và nói, nghe, viết và ngữ pháp tiếng Việt.
Cảm ơn TVO và cảm ơn Quy!
I just started learning with TVO for a few months and I really enjoy their style & professionalism. My experience has been very positive and I look forward to each class with my teacher Mi. She is very sweet and talented. She helps makes learning Vietnamese fun and exciting. I highly suggest TVO for anyone interesting in learning Vietnamese. I live in Hawaii but learn via Skype and its great!
TVO is an amasing teaching group. Before I was learning Vietnamese with TVO I bought studybooks and spend hours trying to work on my pronunciation. Yet, in the first lesson I had learned really a lot and I gained also quite a lot of confidence from it. The teachers are really patienced and kind. The best part is that they train you to actually blend in the Vietnamese society. So, If you're looking for a fun, practical and effecient teaching experience, TVO is your place to be :)!
I've learned with TVO for the past month nearby where I'm currently staying. I've decided to renew for another 10 lessons because of how effective they've been. The teacher was highly motivated and professional and the lessons were planned carefully. They were engaging and memorable, so I've retained most of what I've learned and I'm so happy with the amount of progress I've made. I would recommend TVO to anyone.
I am taking lessons remotely (skype) with Hà Anh from Tiếng Việt Ơi.
I was wondering if that would work as well as being in a class, it does! The lessons are great and very useful, I feel they give me the right level of incentive/push to make real progress.
My teacher is friendly, patient, professional and skillfully mixes formal exercises and casual conversations with a practice of the new words or grammar structures we have been studying. It helps me remember them much faster than on my own.
This means the lesson are enjoyable but also way more motivating than those who only focus on obscure vocabulary and grammar, it's also much better than trying to learn with someone who speaks Vietnamese but lacks teaching skills (I tried both!).
So if you want to learn Vn, I'd definitely recommend TVO, their way of teaching is basically the best of both as you can improve the classic structures/vocab as well as casual conversations!
