Everyone here has been the opposite of helpful. This place is over crowded with: locals with big egos together with a slavery mindset and french neo-colonists. I can be misdirected that so many times here. Yes the language service is poor and deceiving. Avoid it and join other centers or study french elsewhere. This advice is for both foreigners and local vietnamese.
I use this place for its French language course and its cafe. The language course is incredibly good value at 1.6 million dong for nine weeks of classes three times a week. The teachers are very good and it's a really fun way to get to know Vietnamese people, as most of the students are from here. Only gripe is the advanced level classes are all late afternoon, catering I guess to full time workers.
The very modern, clean and comfortable cafe has decent coffee, yoghurt, fresh pastries, Fannys ice-cream - but really dreadful sandwiches made with toasted cold bread and infused with cinnamon due to the cinnamon-flavored toothpicks they use to hold them together. I look forward to using their other facilities like the library and going to events, but will skip the restaurant due to my experience with the sandwiches.
It's great place for music shows. They usually hold shows every weekend. If you are a student or have a membership of this centre.
I have contacted the school many times and gone to the school to apply for one of the classes and everyone has been exceedingly unhelpful. I have been flat out ignored and misdirected many times. I can only imagine how poor the language service is if this is only the registration process. I am happy to have avoided this company and will look elsewhere for a French program.
I'm a student here and like this place very much.
The French courses are well organized though I thought they were a bit disturbing at the beginning.
The library is good also, but considering me knowing no French, I can't say its books and movies are great or bad.
The coffee lounge is okay, the staffs are enthusiastic, the price is acceptable and the armchairs are comfortable :) The atmosphere is okay, not too quiet to make you whisper and not too noisy that you have to shout at each other :)
The activities there are quite various. Free parking (though the parking lot seems a little bit small in my opinion).
