I booked a table there for valentines day. The place was packed with foreigners and vietnamese diners. Very good value for money. Food is good and there is Vietnamese cuisine as well as Western cuisine.
2 fruit drinks, 1 soup and 2 mains costed 500k. what a Bargain!

I would rate this place as "mid end" as they still show signs of things to improve on. For example they offer me plain bread rolls for soup but no butter came with it. When asked they said "We don't have butter. We don't give out butter" I was confused but moved on swiftly, not wanting it to have much impact on my evening. A couple of waitresses were wearing jeans, if they just walked in and start helping themselves to a coffee. They also still suffer from the "not everything is available on the menu/ We have run out of that one" syndrome, which frequently happens around cafes in Hanoi. I hope they read this and work on these little things.

Still I consider it a budget way to get pretty decent food on a special day. Will highly recommend and go back again.

I came here for lunch on a Thursday, and ordered the pizza, and it was surprisingly good. Thin crust with cream instead of cheese. Absolutely besotted with it!
Came by again on a Sunday hoping for a good breakfast, a pit-stop after a long morning walk in the Old Quarter, but this time they didn’t have the croissant. oh well, one of the off-days, maybe. The cold beers were a welcome though.

The interior is rustic, homely, and one can spend hours there, away from the loud honking outside. The vietnamese staff are friendly, full of smiles and very helpful. I’ve been there three times, and there will be more visits as I’ve got this place on my list of favorite restaurants.

Love this restaurant and bakery! I almost solely order the steak-frites which are made perfectly and only 150,000VND, but other dining companions have ordered foods that look just as good, especially the pizza! Their bakery is also outstanding and I would recommend the lemon tarte!
