This will be a two-part review - one on the classes, one on the birthday party service.
Part I: LG Classes
My daughter just turned 5 and has been attending classes at LG for about a month. The staff are always on point - gracious, informative, and eager to work with the kids. The staff speak excellent English and the western management also speak Vietnamese.
My kid is in love with her teachers and asks to go back to LG - that's a new one for her. The classes are creative, well-structured, and entertaining. I've also been pleased to see their emphasis on doing moves correctly and safely. Their equipment is top-notch as well.
The space itself is also impressive. There's a welcome area, the gym itself, and also a play area for kids who are waiting to draw and color or have a snack. Coffee/tea available for parents.
The one drawback for many Hanoians might be the location out in Long Bien. I hear the company is setting up shuttles to/from Tay Ho, which may help. Since we live close to them, it's been a convenient option for our family. Also, consider that LG is located in the new Vincom Center mall, so grabbing a coffee, hitting Citimart, or just wandering about are all options.
I'll also mention this is not the least expensive place in Hanoi, but right now there are discounts in place and the staff have proven to be quite flexible with buying blocks of classes. I'm willing to splurge on this only because they've convinced skeptical me that it's entirely worth it.
Part II: The Birthday:
My daughter wanted to hold her bday party here, which also shows how much she loves the place. They prepared everything - wonderful gift bags, decorations (balloons, signs), provided fruit, popcorn, juice, and candies, and (thank goodness) they did the set up and clean up. For an hour or so, she and her friends were treated to a set of magical and interactive gymnastics activities. Even the toddlers got in on the fun. They made the party exciting for all the little ones - we all had a blast.
So, my advice is, go for a free introductory class and check out the area. I'm more than pleased with what we've experienced thus far and I can highly recommend them.
