As we live at the Sheraton end of Xuan Dieu, Fukuzushi has become our go to Sushi restaurant as well as a lifesaver when Mum, Dad and 3 kids need feeding in a hurry.
Sushi and Sashimi have always been fresh and our family have tried a number of the large variety of other dishes on offer on numerous occasions and never been disappointed either eating in or takeaway. Staff are always friendly and helpful.
My wife and I have dined at Fukuzushi two to three times per month since the restaurant opened. We have tried other Japanese Restaurants on Xuan Dieu but always find the experience lacking when compared to Fukuzushi.
Kim san, the owner, is young but clearly understands customer service and the value of consistency and quality.
The ingredients are fresh and prepared without msg. We have tried a majority of the menu and have never been disappointed.
Good and reliable for a sushi fix. It's a sweet little restaurant with friendly servers. At least one of them speaks English fluently.
Ate here with a few friends, though one of them didn't order any food. We were a little embarrassed she didn't order, but was wowed by the waitress serving her side dishes anyway and treating her like a welcomed guest. Seriously would never expect that! Needless to say, the rest of us compensated with our orders :)
The fish is fresh. The salmon was not too fatty, had a nice marble. The tuna was richly colored and firm. I also had octopus, ebi, mackerel, and a few others, all very fresh and delicious.
Along with our main dishes, we were served small side salads, miso, and tea. We were also surprised with dragonfruit for dessert.
Beautifully arranged, fresh, consistently good lunch sets. I've been coming here since they openned, and have never been let down. But the professionally trained sushi chef continues to surprise me. The sashimi lunch set, my personal favorite, has a market freshness each time that is delightful.
My guests and I have tried many of the other sets, each copious and very good. Also nice that each of the three dining rooms are small, clean and don't feel crowded in.
A nice option to the good, but frantically-paced Sushi Bar in Syrena.
It has been several months since I wrote the above review, and I just want (June 2012) to add that it is still delicious, still fresh, still a delight to eat here. And I do, and the guests I bring (of all nationalities), enjoy it too.
