Saying a restaurant achieved five stars is a lot. To me it means that the food is something I will want to eat over and over as well as service that gives me access to this food with minimal effort. Therefore it is without hesitation that I give Oishi five stars. Despite their distance to my apartment in Ba Dinh, and the fact that I tried to order via twice to be told that my order would be rejected, I hopped on the motorbike and drive to the other side of the lake. I must say I was happy I had driven that far. I was met by a Dragon roll with the head of a dragon (made of rice), a cold Asahi beer and some delicious Miso Soup.
I am by no means a Japanese cook, nor have I been to Japan, but I must say that the food at Oishi was heavenly or as its name means delicious.
After talking with the staff there I was given a menu and told that if I call directly I was guaranteed delivery. I called last night and it was once again great. I enjoyed every second of my chewing.
So here I am writing about food that has left my taste buds and only a faint memory is left. With that in mind I can say that next week Oishi will be hearing from me again.

After 3 visits to this restaurant, it is really time to review this great restaurant.

This is definitely a great Japanese restaurant for the Tay Ho area.

The staff is really friendly and attentive, and the quality of the food is great.

I've eaten their 3 times and had take away once. And each and every time, the quality and portion were consistent.

Some additional work should be done on location awareness as it is a bit hard to find since it is located in a "compound". During the first time, you are not sure if you are allowed to enter the compound through the big guarded metal gate.

All in all, a place i will go back for sure to enjoy some delightful Japanese cuisine.

We liked:
The decoration very nice, the area quiet big with private rooms or big tables(but no clients...),the staff extremely kind.
For this moment there is a promotion: 1 sushi = 1 $

We disliked: the menu isn't complete so you can't order what you want, no miso sup, the cooker is certainly not a real japanese cooker, english skill quiet poor of the staff

Note: 700 000VND for 2 people, restaurant seems to belong to quan hang ngon
