Description: There are many ways to look at a human being. Body parts, chemical processes, genes, psyche and body, health, wellness, and beauty. We firmly believe that looking at any one aspect without considering the whole will most likely fall short of achieving real results. Traditional Chinese Medicine as well as modern holistic approaches offer the frameworks to regard the whole being without getting lost in complexity. As a model it mostly boils down to energies. When those are well-balanced, available in the right quantities, and flowing unhindered, health, wellness, and beauty will manifest as a result.

I have worked for this company for 4 years in Hanoi now and am happy to sign on for another year with them. They are friendly and supportive. They have always taken a great approach to dealing with any issues I have had and found a reasonable solution. I would highly recommend this company.

Hot stone massage was the best massage I have ever had in my life. I fell asleep and had a religious awakening. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for a genuinely good shiatsu massage.... with masseurs who actually know what their doing and do it with strength and real pressure then this is the place for you! Took me a while to find a decent massage in Hanoi... most apply the lightest touch you hardly notice you had a massage, and they do it whilst chatting to their mate, not really focused or caring. At Yakushi they counter balance the wrongs committed by the majority of masseurs in Hanoi... they are incredibly professional, you get your own private cabin, and proper massage table, plenty of pressure and you definitely feel the difference afterwards!

I went to Yakushi today as it had been recommended to me by many friends.

I came for on and off back pain (for over 10 years) and Thuy, the adorable acupuncture therapist, told me that my "chi" was great, my general health was too but that my spine was slightly bent and that my feet were very weak. Acupuncture wouldn't really help my case, only orthopedics soles would. Therefore, she wouldn't do any acupuncture for me.

I had a bit of a fever that day and had planned a massage but they told me that it would be unwise to do so because getting a massage while having fever may cause my muscles to be very achy the next day. That's how professional they are!

I spent over 45 minutes chatting with dr.Thuy and she refused to let me pay for the consultation! I will definitely go back again to try the acupressure and massage once the fever goes down.

Oh and she told me that my abdomen muscles and muscles in general are very strong (to my surprise!) I would pay just to hear that again. ahah!

According my experience, this is by far the best massage center in Hanoi, where I go regularly almost every week for about 18 months now. Their attitude is always professional. The receptionists speak English, so no problem in communication. It is adviceable to call and set the procedure in advance, as they are always busy, especially on weekends. The prices are suprisingly low compared to the quality of their service.

I recently visited Yakushi Center due to a severe case of frozen shoulder. I couldn’t hardly turn over in bed, sitting up involved a very loud grunt (OK, I screamed like a girl a few times …and cried), my condition even made it difficult to breathe because of the pain. Upon my arrival I was distressed not only because of my shoulder but because I had never visited a holistic healing center and had my doubts, I thought I would be wasting my money only to eventually opt for Hospital treatment. The staff at Yakushi were extremely attentive and discussed my problem thoroughly. The treatment involved a very deep massage during which I felt the masseuse had a 6th sense about where exactly she needed to apply pressure. The massage was extremely painful but relieving. The masseuse frequently asked me if the pain was too much (holding my breath, I managed to say, “No, it’s good pain!”). After the massage and the acupuncture procedure I felt completely relieved. I walked out of the center with an expression on my face like I had just walked out of a Grateful Dead concert. After several days I was literally pain free. This is definitely the place you want to visit when it comes to physical ailments. Just remember to be very specific about what you need and Yakushi will deliver!
