“I taught there for 3 months then they didn't have much class to offer because it was Lunar Tet Holiday. I like the staffs there, they are helpful.”
I boarded this boat in early April with a group of 12 friends. I found the cruise really relaxing and value for money.
This cruise is considered budget cruise in Halong Bay Cruise website but I really found this cruise worth more than a budget cruise.
The cruise provided free pick-up from hotel to Halong Bay and the return trip. In our trip, we were the only party who occupied the 16-seater so we felt comfortable throughout the 3.5 hours trip.
The boat was quite big but it only had 16 cabins so it's rather spacious. The rooms were bigger than that on a more luxurious boat I boarded in a 2nd trip to Halong Bay. The food they provided did not contain many seafood but was well cooked and the decorations on the dishes were always beautiful. They had a good cook.
The tour guide did not speak best English but was sincere and helpful. The tour included visiting the Surprise Cave, the Tiptop Island, and kayaking early the next morning. Basically they covered most of the activities provided by other luxurious cruise. The only thing they missed was the fishing village which is reasonable because this cruise was cheaper than the other more luxurious cruise.
In general, I think this cruise was really value for money. From the website, I find that its price has been cut lower than I first boarded this ship. I think it's really a good worth to go on this cruise.
