I too live near Citimart My Dinh (though I haven't managed to walk there yet!), and I have to agree with Newman's review.

Great selection of drinks, including Berri Blackcurrant & Apple, a favourite of mine. Also good beer and wine selection.
Lots of baby stuff - nappies, creams etc, but also toys & accessories.
As Newman said, excellent condiments - Maille mustard, capers, etc. And loads of pasta sauces and ketchups.
Chocolate shelf is well-stocked too, and goes beyond the usual M&Ms and Mars Bars.
And a good range of breakfast cereals, though easy to miss - they are on the top shelf of the biscuit aisle.

They do have foil, gladwrap etc - you have to go around past the noodles into the "homeware" section. It is on the shelf on the left.

Overall a much more pleasant experience than Big C, though would be good if the meat selection was a little larger, then I could avoid Big C altogether.

You can also get a discount card there, which gives you a percentage off the bill each time. Just ask (or point) at the checkout.

As I live withing 30-40 minutes walk of here, I have used this Citimart for supernarket shopping a few times now.

It is typical of most supermarkets in Hanoi with the added advantage that it is quite new. The range of groceries is pretty good save for a few things which I will get to later. They are starting to increase their meat selection which is encouraging, and their vegetable options have also got better over the last couple of months. They stock Australian Bega cheese, which for people like me is heavenly as I need my cheese fix. They also stock a small range of other cheeses such as Edam, Gouda, real Parmesan (in blocks!) and a couple of others, all at reasonable prices. They have a wide range of juices and other soft drinks etc. Dairy section is pretty good with french and Vietnamese yoghurt plentiful, some cream (yet to be tried) but little quality fresh milk. I tend to buy Moc Chau milk as I can be sure it is not Chinese. They stock NZ Anchor Butter as well. A very good range of jams and spreads, including honeys. Some of the best range of condiments and marinades etc I have seen in a supermarket. One of my key finds has been Wool Washing Liquid which I have seriously struggled to find in this part of Hanoi. My towels and jerseys are forever thankful! They also have fresh bread every day, including baguettes that actually taste like they should!

Some items missing include anything related to baking which is disappointing but probably not surprising considering The Manor complex is predominantly populated by expat Koreans who would do little baking I guess. Also no sign of things like baking paper, foil, plastic wrap etc so have to source those elsewhere.

In general, there are more and more shops and restaurants opening up around the complex so more reviews to come in time. In The Gardens shopping centre (still a work in progress) there is a huge supermarket being built on the lower floor which is expected to be open early next year (I think).

So if you are out this way and need some groceries Citimart My Dinh is worth a look.
