Swimming pool named "Sense Aqua" located on the 4th floor of CWD Hotel. The British council owns their office there. Pool ticket fare is 120000 VND (~5 USD). At this price , you have access to a 25m swimming pool and a small gym (some treadmills, weights, press bench, abdominal bench etc..) Locker / towels and sandals are provided. Opening hours from 6am to 10pm every day excepted during the national days off. The place is OK overall despite a ticket fee higher than the average price in Hanoi. I do not recommend this place for serious swimmers. My suggestion goes definetely for the olympic pool 50m at My Dinh district.

I went to this swimming pool yesterday after lunch for a good time, or so I thought. They charged 160.000 VND for a session, winter and hot swimming pool price. There were only 5 of us there, 3 adults and 2 kids.

Inside the facility it's pleasantly warm. The water in the pool, disappointingly, was not as if it's still summer.

I asked the staffs why and received a very unfriendly answer. Yes, I might not have enough knowledge about the pool or swimming as they do but I should know if the water is cold or not. I've been to several "winter pools" to know enough.

They told me I shouldn't expect the water to be as warm as in the shower and if I didn't like it I could go. I should have gone really but I didn't want to create a scene and disappoint my friend (I had done a lot of convincing so that she agreed to move from Four Seasons to this location) so we stayed there, but could manage about 15 minutes.

Needless to say, I never come back there again.

Can I give them just one tenth of a star? (Doesn't look like I can with this rating system). Harsh but I value honesty and professionalism more.

This is a 25m lap indoor lap pool with a small childrens pool attached to the side, on the 4th floor of the White building at 20 thuy khue which is home to the british council and might even be some sort of hotel (not sure)
the entrance to the pool is around the back, small steel stair, then up 4 flights of stairs, buy tickets on the 3rd floor there is a small shop selling some bathers and googles etc... the pool is clean, changerooms are so so, lockers are provided to store your gear while you swim.

I was there saturday at 12 noon - 1:30 pm and only me, a friend and 1 other person were there the whole time, was heaven having a big pool all to yourself. of course afternoons/mornings is a different story. has enclosed roof so no worries about sun burn, but the pool itself is not heated so is still only open during the warmer months of the year. Good place to go for a swim with your vietnamese friends who dont like to go out under the sun too much.
