Thanks TNH for this useful sources. I run very hard to take a look at so many apartments as I can before leaving Hanoi this weekend. I want to settle ready basic things before I come back next two month for a very busy working contract. Among the apps I saw, Lotus Inn is the prominent. It foll...

It's almost as if they had been given a picture of a donut and told to make what they saw in the picture. They look like donuts, but they taste more like frosted white bread. You'd be better off buying a baguette and putting some nutella on it--at least then the bread is fresh.

I was intrigued by the cheap (15K?) espresso, but what they think is an espresso is actually 20cl of coffee, served hot, in a plastic cup with a straw.

The donuts are a bit better than those found in vietnamese bakeries with different toppings and fillings but over a year after opening they still taste like bread. Well bread with toppings.

They do have ok soft serve and coffee drinks but these are very sugary, even for asia.

The location is pretty good but don't come here expecting quality donuts. These were supposed to take Vietnam by storm but the half built other shop in Hanoi and Hoi An haven't been worked on in over 6 months I think.

And so the great donut debate kicks off but it ain't Dunkin' Donuts and it ain't Krispy Kremes so what the hell is it? To be fair, it's the best that Hanoi has to offer at the moment but I am thoroughly convinced that something good will follow.
The different flavours available are a little strange - I was hoping for a plain old jam donut or just a cinnamon one but cashew nut and chocolate had to go into the bag instead.
The service is very good - there are normally more staff than customers so you should have no issues having to queue up!
On the whole, room for improvement in the taste department and the selection could definitely do with a sprucing up. Fortunately a pleasant alternative to the overly sweet concoctions that the Vietnamese seem to like.

The reason they are not exactly like American donuts is because its a Singaporean company.
DoCo Donuts is nice to have here in Hanoi...as the Vietnamese sweet things are generally horrible.
