Pane e Vino has a distinctive character with the decorations and a larger-than-life owner who loves good food, good conversation and good cigars.

Their salads are some of the best in Hanoi. I enjoy their pasta dishes especially the spaghetti. Pizza is good too but that's a personal thing and not everyone will agree on that. Extensive wine menu.

I think the restaurant is authentic to the owner's style and vision. And that's what I like about Pane e Vino.

I went to Pane e Vino nguyen khac can for the second time last night with friends.

The waiter seemed a bit overhelmed, I think he was alone upstairs.

The food came really fast, though there was a mistake with the bruschettas.

I had the Penne Carbonara. It could use more cream and less salt. (I didnt eat the ham/bacon? because it was too salty).

I tried the pizzas of my friends and it was good, except for the seafood one, the seafood (squid?shrimp?who knows) was too chewy.
I like the presentation for the pizzas though, on a big piece of wood.

It's a nice place, the restaurant is warm and cosy, but i think they overcharge basic things such as tiger beer or cigarettes.

Great place for a casual Italian meal, with great food, attentive staff, fantastic location, and superb management (Hoang).

Drive by to see their promotions board which they will have quite good specials, from 2 to 1 pizza to special holiday deals/ set menus. The pizza is great with tons of cheese, fresh salads, decent pasta, and a nice wine selection. One of the better value places in town, and nice to see a bill under 400k (2pax) for a nice meal after a Luna's bill of over 1mil. Quick delivery with food nicely boxed (cardboard) and reliable drivers.

At CAMA dance for life, Hoang was very friendly, chatting up people and offering regulars free glasses of wine. A solid choice in Hanoi, they also have a location near the Cathedral but I prefer this one.

i kinda like their pizzas, not amazing but reasonably priced and good enough... but what gives with getting delivery!!! every time it's like trying to beg for them to get a guy to bring one down... if u have a minimum delivery value, say so on the menu, if u only deliver at certain times, say so on the menu, if u wanna charge extra for delivery, say so on the menu... ridiculous. get over it. just say the following:
"hello, yes we deliver, 1 pizza, of course, to ton duc thang around 6pm, no problem, 30mins, thank you"
"no, sorry, we don't deliver more than 2kms from the restaurant on any orders under 200kVND. So sorry..."
