The coffee is spot on. Excellent taste, presentation and prep. Their cakes are a good portion and sweet as I expect of a good cake especially carrot cake. The one down side is they are letting the chairs and flooring fall apart. I sat in one chair that had a sizable tear in the arm and on another occasion where the stuffing in the seat was all but gone. I needed to change seat as I felt I was sitting in a hole. There a few places where the flooring is broken esp. upstairs and a bad accident could occur if patrons aren't watching their step. I agree with one reviewer the music is good but was disappointed one Saturday when they closed at 6:30pm and asked my friend and I to pay and leave.
They still could do a few things to become even better.

One star for what must be a good internet connection because I genuinely cannot see any other reason to visit this place!

I arrived with my partner at approximately 11:30 and it wasn't busy. We both ordered food and drinks. The waitress barely spoke english and didn't carry a notepad so after several minutes we finally managed to communicate our order so that she could understand and remember it. I ordered a chicken bagette and he, a chicken burger along with two coffees. After ten minutes we were informed there were no chicken burgers so he changed his order to beef. 10 minutes later.... no beef! So he orders a club sandwich.

When it finally arrives it have one side toasted and the other soggy, ham instead of bacon and about 7 fries so we decide to order a side of fries and are informed 5 minutes later they have run out of fries?!?!

So evidently they have run out of 1. chicken, 2. beef, 3. bacon and 4. fries?!?!?!On a Wednesday afternoon? How is this possible?!

I am still waiting for my own bagette to arrive. (I already have cutlery :)) When it hasn't arrived by 12:30 I up sticks and go across the road to Saint Honore which delights, as always.

Honestly I wouldn't bother stepping foot in this place. There are countless better places to enjoy coffee and lunch!

I agree with earlier reviewers that the best thing about this Segafredo is the location. It falls short in other areas.

The prices are way too high for Hanoi. I understand that this is an international brand (like Starbucks) but it is a bit absurd given all the other choices for cafes in Hanoi. I ordered a basic fruit tea and two small waters, and the bill was almost 5 USD. Way too much for so little.

The music they play is terrible for a cafe. Techno, electronic, and much too loud. You cannot read or even here yourself think. This is the major issue here. They need to take lessons from other cafes. Even Starbucks does music better than this place.

The service is OK as they have numerous waitstaff on multiple floors.

I don't recommend this place because there are many better places to choose from.

I used to come here because I particularly like the view from the glassy window to West lake. The service isn't very good but I find it somehow perfect - at least they wouldn't bother me while I was concentrating on my work. The beverages are only ok.

I totally changed my review about this place. At first it was positive, but now that i've been here a few times (over the last few months) i could have a closer look at the place.

The staff is still pretty nice and helpful. The coffee is pretty damn good too. That being said...

The place is falling apart. On the second floor, the floor is literally being eaten by bugs that look like small ants. This place is infested by this. It on the tables, on the walls, in the floors...probably in the food too ?

Lately the food hasn't been very fresh either. Wet bread or rock solid croissant.

I went to a segafredo in Bangkok, its different world....
