Directions: Next to Tadioto
Phone: unknownSeems to be a lot less on the expat radar compared to the guys next door (Tadioto), but there are plenty of reasons to spend an evening here.
The whole place has a nice feel, but the upstairs patio is really what it is all about. I tend to go for a couple bottles of wine with friends, but I see plenty of cocktails and food making their way through on server trays.
In good weather, it can be a fine place for a daytime coffee. If memory serves me correct, I've ended up drifting more toward espresso drinks there as opposed to Vietnamese style drip coffee. Like anyone, I suppose, I get picky about how my Vietnamese coffee gets done after sufficient time in the city, and something about how theirs comes out just doesn't do it for me.
Summer evenings is where the place really shines. Like I said: bottles of wine (decent wine list) and a small groups of friends. The space upstairs is laid out nicely. The seating isn't packed in and there is a nice vibe present. The street noise on that corner is manageable for Hanoi. Lends some atmosphere, but isn't overpowering.
It's not uncommon for my group to start here with a couple bottles and then move next door to be more sociable, as there is no real mingling happening here.
