Hey all, I'm was working with some kids trying to think up entreprenurial ventures they could be involved in. One that would help them pay down their debts, learn the ins and outs of running a small business, and build their confidence.

We thought of a simple grocery co-op. Essentially, some places like (Huong Long market) deliver (sometimes) but most places do not. And since we're shopping their weekly ourselves, it would be easy to get extra orders of things like peanut butter (which I never ate very much of in the states- but here we eat a jar a week!).

Anyway, the kids could purchase the items, and send them by grab delivery to you as needed. You would pay cost of the items, the grab fee, and a 100k a month fee for being in the co-op.

With this set up, it can actually be very affordable and convenient. For example, I love coconut creme. I know at one expat market I can get it at 27 K. but if I do it a the grocery store it's 100k. It would save me money to get it from the far-away market, but it's a pain in the butt to go there if I don't have to.

Also, Grab delivery can drive to multiple locations on one trip, so if we have a set time for delivery, the cost could be lower for each person.

We're only making money by the 100 K per month charge. that means you won't pay a markup on each product or any unnecessary fees. That will help keep costs down. The 100k monthly charge will pay for the girls time to go to the stores as needed, and will pay for their effort in coordinating all of this.

Let me know your thoughts on this and if you want to sign up. I image we'll need at least 20 people signed up to make this happen.

Any you may have great ideas on how to make this better- all thoughts are appreciated.

Private message me if you are curious about the group I am working with, and ways we can help!
