Nộm truyền thống miền Bắc (“traditional northern sour salad”) is traditional “sour salad” of northern Vietnam. It’s usually made during the Tet holiday. It’s “sour salad” with kohlrabi, papaya, carrot, roast peanuts, and coriander. Vietnamese sour salads, or “Nộm,” are made by mixing peanuts, raw vegetables, garlic, chili and spices.
