I am going UK for at least three months and would like to leave some gear in store. if anyone knows of commercial or private possibility i would be grateful. nothing too valuable but it would cost me a lot to set up pots and pans/wardrobe/guitar/bike etc when i return.

I'm guessing you did a search of the business directory ("Spots") for storage? It's not really an established business here, so there isn't much other than moving companies who might be able to help.

I'd look through a few of these previous threads in Ask ANH on the matter.

I would fully recommend Saigon Van (whom I recently reviewed)

Speak to Mr Tuan - he is very helpful.

I guess the other option, which maybe isn't formal enough but seems easier if your stuff isn't particularly seeing who you know who could be "in charge" of it for a while. I've left stuff (suitcases full of random things) with friends before, and gave them a bit of money for their trouble.

A lot of the houses here have laundry rooms or empty spaces where a couple of suitcases and a bicycle wouldn't really be in the way.
