Is it possible to get gas heaters in Hanoi? We used to call them 'Supersers' in the old days, still quite popular in Europe. Here is an example:

Ok... I've since heard that most of the hotels in Sapa have gas heaters in all the rooms... but where did they get them from?

The hotels I've stayed in in Sapa all had reverse cycle aircon to heat in winter, not gas heaters. Never seen a gas heater in Vietnam, come to think of it. Except in Grant's ad. Not to say they don't exist...

The heater is sold now, but we originally bought it second-hand from another expat who was on his way out. Not sure if he bought it here or shipped it in. Plenty of interest in it though - maybe a niche business opportunity for someone?
