Does anyone know a good place to bring clothes, shoes, helmets and/or other cloth items that have a bit of mold/mould on them, to get them cleaned? Haven't been succesful doing it by hand on some of the items, but no clue where i can find a good shop to have it done.

I haven't had mouldy clothes cleaned by them but the American Dry Cleaners across the road from the Hanoi Club does good washing and dry cleaning.

Soaking them in water with baking soda works surprisingly well and prevents the mould from coming back too. You can find baking soda at L's place.

Mr Mike

I had the issue of moldy clothes and this remedy has helped me.

There is a scent freshener/cleaning detergent liquid called "Mot Lanh Xa."

It's in the washing detergent section of every supermarket. Dark blue color. Two size of bottles, a smaller and bigger one. You fill the cap about half full and add it to your washing machine or to your wash bucket when washing your clothes.

Also, airing out your clothes for several extra hours seems to help after a washing.

I'll try the baking soda one first. Thanks for the suggestion.

Washing machine option I will try after, because it's mostly a helmet and a bunch of shoes that needs the extra work, and the Washing machine is not the first place I would trow it in ;-)
