As my search for the word "kitchen" let me to topics such as water safety and rat poison, but not to what I am looking for, here my question:

I am looking for a place to shop for a new kitchen. The old kitchen in the house sucks so I want a new one, just a simple 3 meter long countertop with a sick and gas-burner, with a spot for a microwave and/or oven.

Anyone have a good realible reference for where to shop for the items and/or the people to put it in.

As for prices, it is my understand to expect pricing to be around 30mil VND for a new kitchen?

Thanks for all the tips!

Along the lines of the New Bathroom thread go along Cat Linh and have a bit of a look in the shops. Also, on Giang Vo there are a few cooktop and exhaust fan shops.

mei linh plaza - set prices, warranties, HUGE range, etc...

it's totally worth the trip (only like 45mins anyway...)

My girlfriend just got a new kitchen put in. Very nice and around that price range. The guy she used, who was very professional and talented, only speaks Vietnamese, but if you are interested pm me and i'll get his number for you. He may also be able to do the bathroom but I am not sure on this as he specializes in woodwork
