Me and a friend are looking to buy a cheongsam (female) and changshan (male) Chinese dress. Does anyone know where I might find such items?

Good Answer Mattnoi marked this as a good answer

You would like to buy or make them tailored?

If you prefer to buy cheongsams, go to shops in Hàng Bông str.. They may have sizes for Western girls. As Changshan is not really popular here, I don't know whether those shops have Changshan or not.

If you would like to make Cheongsam tailored, I will give you some addresses later. I had three cheongsams at home and all of them are tailored ;P

I will check out Hang Gai tomorrow. The friend of mine is actually Vietnamese so hopefully size won't be an issue anyway. Perhaps we will buy hers and tailor mine, though we do need matching ones... let's see what we can find.
Thanks Thao
