A Tag search brings up quite a lot of information you might wish to wade through, a few bike shops listed near the bottom. And I know this has come up in other threads in the past, probably best to have a read through some of them. You seem to have pulled up one of the less well answered ones.
If you haven't figured out the Tags yet, there is a description of them in the FAQ which is quite helpful. But basically, when searching for info on bicycles, do your search, and then from the list of Tags that appear on the right of the screen, click on the word bicycle and every thread, and spot that has been Tagged with that word will appear. Often a good way to find things when the initial search throws up too many mismatching threads.
I went to Ba Trieu to buy a bicycle..They also showed me some second hand Bridgestone cycles ( looking as good) for 2million. A new Asama bike costs around 2.2mio. Does anyone have any experience of buying these used bridgestone bikes? Is it just a cover up job they are doing on a rusty bike? Also the fellow at the shop told me they will pay me 70% if I sell the bike back to them after 6mths..Is it just sales pitch?
For a real used bicycle:
I bought my bicycle at a Cam do (pawn shop) on Duong Lang. That street is full of those type of shops, especially from Cau Giay southward.
Mind you- no English, so a Viet friend is helpful. or just learn your numbers and have fun bartering.
My bike cost ~600,000, a good deal.
Used Shimano bicycle for sale.
This bicycle is tall so it suits male or people who have long legs.
It's still in very good condition, can ride fast and the brake works well.
Price is 900,000 VND.
I live at Linh Lang, Ba Dinh, feel free to come and check!
