Hi All,

I know this question has been asked a million times before. So I apologize in advance even though I have done my research to other questions.

I was wanting to know if their was an easier way to send money back to my home country from Vietnam. In the past, I have had a difficult time with Western Union and MoneyGram as they allow money to be brought in. Unfortunately, these companies will not let money to be taken out of the country. Any suggestions?

from what I have noticed, bitcoin, much like the gold prices, is inflated. The last I looked, it was easily 15% above market price. I would look for another option.

Well the point is to use bitcoin as a transfer medium meaning as soon as it is in your e wallet sell and transfer funds into your foreign account. Bitcoin is too volatile to hold for long periods.

travel agencies can make magic work, maybe charge you 5-10% or a flat rate

also, jewelery/gold places ... i've heard ... can send money, and i think it works because folks in other countries want to send money here, and its handled through the shops, gotta find one you can trust though, i don't know any myself

good luck

Any updates on this information. I won't ever go back to US with cash in hand again. They searched all my bags, went through my wallet, counted all my money, and above all else, they were just completely rude.
