Does anyone know a big pharmacy?
And with big I mean big because I already covered a lot of them today.

I need to get my birth control pill since I lost my last strip.(yeah stupid me). But since I cant stand hormones I need a specific one.(cerazette) Which I cant find.

In Hanoi at least all of the pharmacies all stock all the same stuff. Their selection is limited and it often made in Vietnam or India. If you need something more specialized, go to the French Hospital pharmacy. If they do not have it in stock, you will need to get a doctor at the hospital to write you a script as they only make special orders for their own patients. They can get just about any thing as they have doctors hand carry drugs from Europe. You will have to wait until a doctor does this. It takes a while. The other option is to go to Thailand.

You could try contacting Marie Stopes and see which Progestin-only pill they use.

http://www.santhuoc.vn/thuoc.html?sType=2&sDrugs=1&sKeyword=Desogestrel and http://www.igenericdrugs.com/?s=Cerazette list Embevin 28 as another 75 microgram Desogestrel pill, available in Viet Nam. And people are talking about it online, so it must be available here somewhere.

But be careful, I just saw two other places list it as a combined pill, one site lists it as both types on the same page. Check the packet when you buy it, as you should for any pharmaceutical product.

http://baotam.vn/embevin-28-0-075mg-tablets.html lists it for 83.000VND per 28, but they're in t.p. HCM and might not ship to Ha Noi.

Perhaps the Hapu Medi Center is worth a try?

And if you do decide to try a different Progestin-only Pill, avoid Yaz and Yasmin: http://www.thanhniennews.com/index/pages/20130615-authorities-say-vietnam-wary-of-fatal-birth-control-pills.aspx

you should go to the National hospital of obstetrics and gynecology 43 Tràng Thi, or if you want, I will introduce to you a doctor in Bạch Mai hospital.

I work with many parmaceutical companies and i heard about Nguyễn Luận in Tràng Thi opposite 2nd Tràng Thi. Not a big one but you can find somethings you cannot find in anywhere else.
And the second one is Liên Mai - 625 hoàng hoa thám. A big one, famous, crowded, reasonable price.
The third one is Mega 31 Láng Hạ.

^chukachup is on to something; bigger does not necessarily mean better in Hanoi.

I have found stuff I couldn't find elsewhere at a pharmacy on Tran Huy Lieu off of Giang Vo. It is on the left heading towards the lake and appears to serve many
Russian (or at least Eastern Bloc) costumers.

At any rate, my guess is that you will find what you are looking for at a very specific hole in the wall.
